Those jobs are out there. Where I work, there's a floor of corporate work, and then one below it with monkeys that have axes (the group I'm in) but they still value individual expression and people show up with all manner of tattoos, expressive wardrobe, hair colors not found in nature, and faces that look like a fishing tackle box exploded upon them.

For everywhere else that seems to believe that "how you look" = "how you'll perform (retarded theory!) you gotta wear long sleeves and make allowances for 8 hours. And read their employee handbook carefully to exploit the loopholes after your 90 days of probation.

if only the dirty south was as open minded as the progressive north west. I just might make another scenery change though depending on what happens in the near future, i wouldn't mind living up there again ;)

oh, it was no choice of mine, i joined the 12% of the laid off population. Its gonna be hard to find anywhere willing to pay 18.50 an hour for awesome customer service! lol

Aaron's place of employment is hiring telephone sales/appt setting jobs, although it wouldn't be near as much money as you were making at K-THK-Whatever. (don't we wish those types of jobs were everywhere?). But, if you would like the employments, call him: 727-623-3610.

Definitely start putting your name into some Temp services just as a start. At the very least they might be able to place you somewhere while you look for something better. Places are starting to hire again but they're taking their time doing it.
